The Atlantics – Bombora.
The Atlantics are an Australian surf rock band formed in the early 1960s and arguably Australia’s most successful of the genre. In 2000 the group reformed with three of the original members, and they are still actively releasing new material and performing live (source: Wikipedia).

Think surf rock classics and a few songs come to mind. The Surfari’s Wipeout, Dick Dale’s Miserlou, Pipeline by the Chantays and of course Bombora, by Australia’s own, Atlantics. Virtually the only successful surf instrumental band not from America. Echoing the Shadow’s Twangy Atmospheric Instrumental Sound, they were snapped up by CBS Records and became a household name with the release of their giant hit Bombora in 1963.

After completing their European tour in 2013 The Atlantics have announced their retirement from live touring.
